Important Operational Changes

We are very excited to see restrictions easing across Victoria. However, even though the Victorian Government has eased restrictions on hospitality capacities starting from tomorrow, this easing is based on everyone being double vaccinated. In considering our Local Government Areas and the vaccination rate of those areas not yet being over 70% double vaccinated we feel that we will be excluding more people than we are including if we go to a fully vaccinated venue at present. Our aim is to stay open to as many people as we can. Therefore, Club Mandalay will be maintaining our current operations, with an exception, and not moving to a fully vaccinated operation until the Victorian Roadmap moves into Phase C where it is mandated that everyone must be fully vaccinated.

The exception to this is that we will move to a fully vaccinated venue for Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm until close on both days, starting tomorrow.

This means if you are coming into the venue for any and all reasons from 4pm on a Friday or 4pm on a Saturday you will be expected to be fully vaccinated. This allows us to once again offer in-house dining to a capacity of 30 people. We have devised an amended dinner menu specifically for this operation that we will be offering until we can once again expand our capacities to allow us to offer our full dinner menu.

Therefore, the following operational guidelines will apply as of 11.59pm Thursday 21st October.

Golf
No operational changes at present, however please be mindful that you must be fully vaccinated if you are entering the Clubhouse after your round from 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

You are still required to QR code in upon entry to the venue at all times.  However, please be prepared to show proof of your double vaccination status if you are entering the Clubhouse after 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays starting tomorrow.

Our Lunch service will be available to everyone (regardless of vaccination status), however we will remain at the current capacity limits of 10 patrons indoors and 20 patrons outdoors.

Please be patient and kind with our staff while we work to getting back to some sort of normal, and remember that we are doing our best to provide the best customer experience we can while following the Government guidelines and mandates.

If you are visiting the Clubhouse, please be aware of the below current Covid guidelines:

  • Masks must be worn at all times on Club Grounds (unless you have a medical exemption) or unless you are eating, drinking or out of breath. This includes while outside.
  • You must sign in each time you enter the Clubhouse using our QR Code.
  • As restrictions still apply in Metro Melbourne, only residents of Regional Victoria will be permitted entry. Our staff will be undertaking ID checks to enforce this, and only permitted residents will be allowed entry.

Remember – if you are not feeling well you should not visit the Clubhouse to help us ensure the safety of our patrons and staff.
