Carols by Candlelight 2022

It’s just over 1 WEEK until our Carols by Candlelight! And we have an awesome event in store for you and your family and friends. With a host of activities kicking off from 5pm, and the carols (brought to you by the very talented alluka duo) starting from 7pm, next Sunday (18th Dec) is going to be amazing!
From 5pm, we have a bunch of free activities for everyone to enjoy, including:

  • Face painters
  • Balloon artists
  • A roving Magician
  • Hair Braiding
  • Glitter Tattoos
  • Sandwizard Art

Now, we know you’ll be hungry and ready to eat, so we have some unique and fun food trucks coming in to soothe that hunger! These include (From 5pm to 8:45pm):

  • Poppa Petes – Ice Cream
  • Curly Fries
  • Davey’s Baked Potatoes (also serving kranskys, hot dogs and roast beef rolls)

And finally, we will have a special visit from a very jolly man! Santa will be dropping by to take some photos and see all the nice kids of Beveridge! Santa will be here from 5pm to 8pm.

We invite you to bring along camping chairs and picnic blankets to set up on the lawn outside the Clubhouse. Get in early to secure your spot!

We do have some small housekeeping items to attend to, to ensure everyone has a wonderful evening:

  • Our Kitchen will not be open for food service, however our Urban Grocer has a selection of food items that will be available, such as:
    • Fine cheeses
    • Chips and crackers
    • Dips
  • No open flames or candles – you can either bring your own LED candle, or purchase one from the school. Our Lady of the Way’s P&F team who will be selling LED candles and glow sticks on the night, to raise funds for their school.
  • In accordance with our liquor licence:
    • Alcohol purchased within the Clubhouse must be consumed within the Clubhouse building and cannot be taken onto the lawn.
    • No BYO alcohol
    • No glass on the lawn area
    • For those wishing to have an alcoholic beverage on the lawn area, our drinks cart will be available serving a selection of drinks in cans and plastic cups

Finally, bring along your best festive spirit and make this a wonderful evening! Be kind to your neighbours, the wider community and our staff. It’s sure to be the perfect way to celebrate Christmas!
