Head Golf Professional

Full Time

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and passionate Head Professional to lead the golf, retail, tuition and membership operations of the Club. The Head Professional will be responsible for assisting in the development and drive the implementation of our golf strategy with is centred around developing events and driving membership acquisition and retention.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Member of the Professional Golfers Association of Australia;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Be passionate about promoting and growing the game of golf;
  • Have strong staff management and development experience;
  • Enjoy introducing new players to the game via a range of innovative programs;
  • A strong background in retail and club fitting;
  • Be well presented with exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Be commercially oriented with the ability to manage and exceed budget; and
  • The ability to collaborate with our Commercial and Marketing team to achieve the golf and overall facility objectives.

The Head Professional is a full-time salary position that will also be an integral part of the overall management team.

Personal Trainers or Fitness Coaches


Looking for Personal Trainers or Fitness Coaches to join the Leisure Department immediately at Club Mandalay. We have an exciting opportunity for Cert 3 and/or Cert 4 qualified applicants who are flexible, reliable and enjoy working within a small team to achieve results. Being a good communicator who is a natural at building rapport is essential for this role, as well as a willingness to assist other departments with their work loads.

The successful candidate must understand the traditional hours of the fitness industry – early starts, late nights and weekends. The successful candidate will work within the Leisure Department at Club Mandalay, who manage the day to day operation of the gym, group training sessions, swimming pool and tennis courts.
